What we collect and why

If you sign up to our newsletter. We collect your email address. We use it only to send you the newsletter. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give when you sign up, and which you can withdraw at any time.

If you visit this website. Our hosting provider records standard server log data, including your IP address, the pages you request, the time of the request, and your browser type. This is used to keep the site running and secure. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the site.

If you email us. We keep your message and contact details so we can reply and keep a record of the correspondence.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Nothing on this site requires a cookie banner.

Our page fonts are delivered by Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font, your IP address is sent to Google. If you would rather avoid this, you can block third-party requests in your browser.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else for marketing.

beehiiv is based in the United States, so your email address is transferred outside the UK and EEA. That transfer relies on the safeguards set out in beehiiv's data processing terms, which include the standard contractual clauses approved for this purpose. How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, after which it is removed from our list. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host and then deleted. Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to deal with the matter, and then deleted.
